The desire to spend a different weekend and the curiosity to get to know Hortelã da Ribeira took us to Serra da Estrela. And we couldn’t have made a better decision!
Hortelã da Ribeira is everything you need to spend a few days relaxed and at peace, close to nature. The house is beautiful, modern, welcoming and warm (in every way)! You can feel the affection with which it was put on air in the details thought out by Liliana and Francisco, super attentive hosts 🙂
Fully equipped kitchen with the necessary utensils for your stay, spacious house and one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in!
We are close enough to Torre and Covilhã to climb the mountains or see the city, but far enough away so that we can enjoy the silence of the mountains.
